Leona planted goldenrod in the Gibb street garden.

Leona's grandmother drank a big cup of goldenrod tea every day. Doctors tried to tell her different things that the tea was going to do to her. When each doctor died she put goldenrod on their graves.

 

The trash on Gibb street was piled high so Leona call around to see what she could do about all the trash. After she called the citizen's information center they told her to call the health department. But she did not  want to call, the next morning she walked down to the health department so that she was not just a voice on the phone.

Let it grow. The first chapter in the book is about a girl named Kim who plants beans in the ground to help out her family. But she does not know what she is starting. There is many chapters about many people and each are very interesting and fun to read. Here is in inside look on the book.
